Self-simulation is the void
Self-simulation is the void.
Constantly tracking how you're perceived and what others might think of you does little but drain your energy and attention.
You can't fully get into flow when you're attending to what other people think.
You're not doing yourself any favors either—imagining what other people think about you is bit of a fool's errand. They're the main character in their own story, so you can't hope to model them too well. And you'll never truly know with certainty.
