Motivation is Irregular
Don't expect constant, steady motivation from yourself, even towards things that you love.
Motivation is unsteady, irregular, fits and starts and bursts and flashes.
It's not about snap becoming Motivated, It’s about capturing and using periods of motivation, and encouraging them. (there's a caveat somewhere... to do things it's also important to work at them even when you're not particularly motivated. .. maybe that's Create motivation e.g. it's not feel good sunshine motivation but "god damn it this is the RULE and we will FOLLOW IT" motivation. Multiple kinds of motivation... anyway)
Design a lifestyle to foster motivation-- set the conditions for best motivation flow (Good sleep, nutrition & hydration, practices, inputs, rules, environment).
Set yourself up organizationally so you can switch to where you're inspired.
Picture motivation toward different activities as the ebb and flow of lanes in traffic. One lane is faster, then it backs up and the other is faster, etc. Varying creative outputs and task areas are like available lanes. sometimes, one lane may be easier or harder to go down --
