Extraconscious Thinking

Title WIP ... Really i'm trying to get at is the ability to use your brain/mind outside of "thinking"

Higher order abstraction of mind as specific patterns of brain activity, neurons firing, etc. -> All (?) states of consciousness have different patterns of brain activity -> how do those patterns translate into experience-- how do they feel? -> try to stretch for these things... mental stretching (not straining/forcing, expanding and reaching outward) is (i think) a way to shift more of your brain activity to subconscious (something like this)

How to think? How to direct your brain?

How to flex your brain... How to isolate the "muscle groups" of your brain (analogy more on the kinesthetic and exploratory sense than on the isolation)

e.g. return to neutral brainwaves (breathing, conscious release) e.g.? hold things in working memory (e.g. number strings, writing-brainstorming and connecting ideas)
